BISCUIT ONBASS
MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT.................................. I have recently relinquished my Endorsing Artist deal with Spector Instruments,as after 6 fabulous years with them, as I feel this is now the right time for change and a fresh outlook. I have been using Spector Legend and Euro LX Bass guitars exclusively now for over half a dozen years, and all the music that you have heard me playing here and elsewhere has been recorded using a Spector bass of one kind or another. I must say that I have relly enjoyed and been proud of my association Spector and specifically Artist relations manager PJ Rubel, Stuart Spector and all the Guys in the team there. I have and always will Love Spector instruments which I feel are of the highest quality available on the market, and have really enjoyed playing them, both live and in the studio. During the last few months though, I have found myself trying out more and more Fender Jazz and Precision style bass guitars and have aquired a real liking for their "Simplicity", ruggedness and general vintage style looks and feel, and also their comfortabilty whilst playing live. The shorter scale, tone and look of these basses have really found their way into my heart and I will be using them on all of my future live and recording work, so be prepared for a few tonal changes from yer Biscuit from here on in. I will though be keeping my Spector Euro 5LX " Ruby" ( Black Cherry) but have now also added to my collection two Fender Squier Jazz Basses... "JESS" (Black) and "Emily" (Sunburst) and also a Mc intyre precision named "HONEY" (Natural)... These "Ladies" will also be joined in a week or so by "LUCY" who is a Fender Squier Vintage Modified Jazz bass (Natural) to complete the all new 5 bass line up. So with this news now being formally announced, I would like to take this opportunity to thank PJ Rubal, Stuart Spector and and the guys at Spector Instruments for their support and friendship during the last 6 years, and it is with some sorrow that I leave them as an Endorsing Artist, using their brand of basses exclusively... but of course things could not remain as they were, because I will now be promoting other bass guitar manufacturing companies such as Fender and Mc intyre etc, and so therefore I must now relinquish my exclusive deal with the wonderful guys at Spector from this day forward. Onwards and upwards then my friends and into the world of "Jazzing up" my style of playing my new Solo tunes to be created and also inject a new "Biscuitised" Bass tone within my bands "ONE NIGHT STAND" and "MSP".......... Stand by for a whole new re Invention of Biscuit on Bass. Peace and Respects always..... BISCUIT ;o)
