About Me
I am a freelance bass guitarist from England UK with over 23 years of experience, which includes live performance, studio/recording sessions with many different bands over the years, both at home in the United Kingdom and also Internationally, and I feel privilaged to have worked together with so many very talented musicians which has incorporated so many different styles of music on the bass during my time spent at the"Low End"
I began to become more recognized for my work on the Bass after completing a Solo CD of my own music at the end of 2006, some 16 years after first picking up a bass guitar. My Instrumental solo tunes had over 45.000 hit's on ";Myspace" and two years later in 2008 Larry Hartke ( HARTKE Amplification Systems) "discovered me"... also on myspace, and awarded me the title of "HARTKE'S BEST UNSIGNED" Bass player Woldwide, together with only two other Bass guitarist's, which was a very proud moment for me indeed.
I have been Influenced predominantly by the late great Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller , Jeff Ament (Pearl Jam) and John Myung (Dream Theater ) together with Billy Sheehan ( Talas/ MrBig/Solo artist ) and also the amazingly talented TM Stevens.
Listening to and learning from these guys and of course many other great bass players over the years has enabled me to take little bits of each of their teqhniques, and use them together with my own idea's to help me discover my own individual sound and style of playing the bass guitar.
My experience as a bass player and musician and continuing ongoing work in the music industry over the years has led to my attaining Artist / endorsement deals with various bass product companies from around the world, all of which I am very grateful for, and also very proud of.
These include my association HARTKE (bass amplification)... D'ADDARIO ( Strings )... PLANET WAVES (Instrument cables and accessories).... BOSS (Processors and pedals)....ESP (Essential Sound Products power cables)...and HYPNOTIC (Guitar straps ) all of whom in my opinion manufacture only the finest quality equipment and who all have a customer service that is absolutely second to none which makes me very proud that they have chosen me as an "Artist" to represent their fine companies and products, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them all for their friendship and support and for enabling me to find my own individu
